Myros Trutiak, born in Toronto, Canada, cultivated an early passion for craftsmanship and creativity despite initially pursuing a different career path. He attended the University of Guelph, where he earned a degree in biology. However, his interest in hands-on artistry and technical innovation ultimately led him down a different road—one that began in a modest garage.
Driven by curiosity and determination, Myros founded a small foundry, where he immersed himself in the intricate processes of mold making and metal casting. Over the years, through relentless dedication and refinement of his techniques, he honed his craft to masterful levels. This journey of growth and expertise laid the foundation for MST Bronze Ltd., a renowned foundry respected for its precision and quality. Myros has completed numerous significant projects, including memorials, monuments, awards, historical markers, and other artistic works.
Building strong relationships with artists has always been a cornerstone of Myros’ success. Known for his approachable demeanor and collaborative spirit, he deeply values the people he works with, appreciating their creative vision and contributions. His legacy stands not only as a testament to his technical excellence but also to his role as a trusted partner in bringing artistic projects to life.
