MST Bronze Limited art and design studios, is a Canadian Corporation operating in Toronto since 1983. We are a team of diversely skilled professionals that produce high quality fine art, custom and monumental sculptural projects. We specialize in custom casting and fabrication of a variety of alloys such as bronze, brass, aluminum and stainless steel. We are committed to meeting the requirements for projects of any size, in virtually any metal. Our 20,000 sq. ft. studio/workshop is complete with foundry, moulding studios, welding and fabricating facilities, induction furnaces, CNC routers, forklifts, overhead crane and a 5-ton boom truck for delivery and installation.
Among architectural and commercial castings we offer plaques, awards and incentives for companies such as Molson’s, Labatt, CAA, The Toronto Star, Bank of Montreal, Canada Cup, General Motors, NHLPA, Nortel, Ford, Junior Achievement, Writers Guild of Canada, City of Brampton, IMAX, Washburn University, Toronto’s Hockey Hall of Fame, and Television Bureau of Canada.
Our clientele is diverse and our work can be seen internationally. Commissions for religious institutions include exquisite and intricate designs of custom altar and church artifacts for various religious faiths, such as votive light stands, service tables, tabernacles, menorahs, crosses, icons, chandeliers and candelabras.
MST Bronze Limited has been expanding its role in benefiting the Conservation and Restoration industry with its extensive knowledge of the art metal foundry processes, as well as architectural bronze fabrication.
In consultation with Public Art Conservators and Structural Engineers we have coordinated various Conservation and Restoration projects. The processes involved in these projects include: research, documentation, preparing proposals and reports, dismantling of sculptures, transporting, cryogenesis and aqueous cleaning, repairs, surface treatment and preparation, re-patination, re-installation, and maintenance of private and public art works.
We have been members of the CAC, Canadian Association for Conservation of Cultural Properties for ten years and as members, abide by the “Code of Ethics and Guidance for Practice”. We are also members of the CAPHC, Canadian Association of Professional Heritage Consultants.
The MST Bronze Limited team encompasses a network of qualified professionals that are capable of undertaking all work related to the design, management and production of projects of any magnitude.
Our qualified staff has many years of experience and is available to provide technical advice on manufacturing each piece. We have a number of employees who are certified as lift truck operators, overhead crane operators and for fall protection. All employees are WHMIS trained.
A full range of tools and sculpting materials required by the artist to design and create is available through our supply division, Sculpture Supply Canada, located on the same premises.
The long-term goal of MST Bronze Limited is to be a full service art centre for Canada.
